It was a hit on New Year’s morning!
I’ve mentioned on the air that the week between Christmas & New Year’s is about my favorite week of the year. My Mom comes over from Cape Girardeau, and we plop down and watch about 8000 (give or take) college football bowl games, and we eat things.
Cooking for Mom that week is so much fun. I’ll usually cook something on three or four days, and then we eat leftovers the rest of the time. This year it was warm enough to smoke some ribs on the grill, and that’s one of Mom’s favorites.

One day I made a Reuben Soup which was delicious!

And New Year’s morning I made her a French Toast recipe, inspired by TV Chef Michael Symon…
I’m no chef, but I love to cook, and I especially love cookin’ for my Mama! If you try one of the recipes, please let me know how it turns out! – scotty
