Well that’s what Chef Michael Symon calls it, and Scotty gave it a try!
This is a Michael Symon recipe I saw on TV earlier this year. I’m not really a fan of french toast, but he did it in a cast iron skillet on the grill and it looked fun. I never got to it during grilling season, but thought it looked like a good Thanksgiving or Christmas morning option.
I added some of the leftover apple filling from the apple strudel I shared the other day. It turned out really good!
